THIS ALSO APPLIES TO ANY PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS. TO DETERMINE THE LEGAL BASIS ON WHICH ANY PROCESSING OF DATA IS BASED, PLEASE CONSULT THIS DATA PROTECTION DECLARATION. IF YOU LOG AN OBJECTION, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS YOUR AFFECTED PERSONAL DATA, UNLESS WE ARE IN A POSITION TO PRESENT COMPELLING PROTECTION-WORTHY GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING OF YOUR DATA THAT OUTWEIGH YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR IF THE PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING IS THE CLAIMING, EXERCISING OR DEFENCE OF LEGAL ENTITLEMENTS (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ART. 21(1) GDPR).
IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS BEING PROCESSED IN ORDER TO ENGAGE IN DIRECT ADVERTISING, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR AFFECTED PERSONAL DATA FOR THE PURPOSES OF SUCH ADVERTISING AT ANY TIME. Right to demand processing restrictions
You have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data where the statutory requirements are met.

4. Recording of data on this website
Cookies
Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small data packages and do not cause any damage to your device. They are stored either temporarily for the duration of a session or for longer periods. Technically necessary cookies are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR unless another legal basis is specified.
You can configure your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general, and activate automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. This includes in particular browser type and browser version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and IP address.
These data are collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free presentation and stability of the website.
Inquiry form / housing questionnaire
If you submit data to us via our digital housing questionnaire, we process that information in order to handle your inquiry, record housing interests in a structured way, and analyse demand in the market.
Categories of data processed:
Contact and identification data:
- full name
- email address
- telephone number
- address (street, postal code, city, federal state)
- profession / position and place of work
Household and family data:
- number of adults and children in the household
- date of birth and gender of each household member
- marital status and, where applicable, date of marriage
- relationship between household members
Income and employment data:
- type of employment (e.g. employee, self-employed)
- gross annual income of each relevant household member
- other income (e.g. rental income, capital income) and amounts
- maintenance payments made
- calculated tax deductions and allowances
Special categories of personal data under Art. 9 GDPR:
- nationality and country of origin (information that may allow inferences about ethnic origin)
- EU citizen status and, where applicable, type of residence permit
- information regarding any severe disability (health data)
Legal basis: Processing of general personal data is based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (the consent you explicitly give before submitting the questionnaire) and, where you are specifically inquiring about a dwelling, on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures). Processing of special categories of personal data (nationality/country of origin and information on severe disability) is carried out exclusively on the basis of your explicit consent under Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR. This consent is voluntary; however, you can only submit the questionnaire in full if you provide the information required for the evaluation. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future (see section "Revocation of your consent").
Recipients: Your information is processed exclusively by us as the controller. It is only disclosed to third parties to the extent necessary for the pre-selection of matching housing offers (in particular to owners or landlords), and only after prior information or consent. No transfer to third countries outside the EU/EEA takes place.
Retention period: Your information is stored in our system for a period of 12 months from the date your inquiry is received. After this period the data is automatically and completely deleted, including any archived copies, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. under tax or commercial law) apply. You may request earlier deletion of your data at any time (see section "Information about, rectification and eradication of data").
Automated processing: Your information is used to automatically compute a preliminary income evaluation (applying standard tax and social-law allowances). This result is used solely for pre-qualification of your inquiry. No automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR — i.e. a decision producing legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affecting you — takes place; the final decision about allocating a dwelling is always made by natural persons.
Bot protection: To protect against automated abuse we use "Cloudflare Turnstile" (provider: Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). This involves processing of technical data (including IP address and browser information) to verify you as a human user. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in protecting against abuse). For more information see https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.
